Dr Steve Connor OBE founded the organisation in 2002, specifically to help victims of domestic violence and abuse obtain legal protection irrespective of their financial position. What does NCDV do? We obtain protective injunctions for Non Molestation Orders, Occupation Orders and Prohibited Steps Orders. How much does NCDV charge? Nothing, we help victims irrespective of their financial position for free. We have never charged a victim and we never will. What areas do NCDV cover? Just about the whole of Britain, unfortunately we can’t offer our service in Scotland or Wales. How do I refer a victim to NCDV? We will contact the victim and establish using the Family Law Act if they are eligible for the injunction. How do I know what happens? We have a feedback loop that provides for instant updates to you, you will always know what is happening to your referral and any additional support that may be needed.
